Story
Denisk's boy and his girlfriend Lariska run away from the pioneer camp to collect berries. On the way, someone steals a compass from them. In pursuit of the kidnapper, they end up in the Country of Strawberries, where they became friends with the bouncer Kuzka and the creep Kiv. It turns out that the compass was stolen by Odnousius. The Yabednik Mukha informs Odnousom about the appearance of strangers in the Country, and the hooligans (Odnouzomny army) bind the pioneers and put them in a dark hole. But those, having attracted several local children, defeat the evil Odinous, who wanted to turn all the children into bouncers, sneakers, licks and bullies. Moreover, Odnousy did not work “on his own”: he has a mysterious black master - a monster who enjoys his child’s torment and draws strength from strawberries absorbed by him, provided that he did not collect it ... Once at home, the guys are trying to understand whether all these adventures have imagined them.
Differences from a Tale
There were three children in the literary original: Antoshka, Lariska and Deniska. But the boy, the hero of the cartoon, although by its character and looks like Antoshka, is named Deniska for rhyme with Lariska. The age of the heroes is also different - the book mentions that Lariska is not a pioneer yet (that is, she is October) and, accordingly, younger than Deniska and Antoshka. In the cartoon, Lariska and Deniska both say that they are pioneers, and, judging by their appearance, they are of the same age.
