SS-Kaliert is a young German punk band playing punk hardcore / street punk. It was assembled in 2003 as part of Torsten (vocals), Benni (guitar / vocals), Nils (bass) and Fab (drums). The original composition over the 5 years of the existence of the team has not changed much. Often gives concerts both at home, in Germany, and in different countries of Central Europe (Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy). She was the unofficial headliner for the festival tours International Chaos (October 2008 (Germany)), Schlachtrufe (February 13 - March 7, 2009 (Germany - Switzerland)). In the second part of the International Chaos is going to visit France, Spain, Portugal. In April 2009, the group played a tour of Russia with Unity of inferior.

For a fairly short period, from 2004 to 2008. the group created a demo, 2 albums, 2 EP and 2 split (one of them together with Japanese punks Futureless System). Recorded on the independent (see DIY) label Maniac Attack Records (Germany).
Theme of songs
SS-Kaliert's work is dominated by the theme of songs typical of traditional punk (anarchism, social subtext, flaws in society, anti-fascism (a hallmark of many German bands from Seelenzorn to Kreator and Destruction ), internationalism, anti-militarism, anti-authoritarianism, ACAB , NWF ).
Name Specificity
The name “SS-Kaliert” is first shocking / perplexing, since the first two letters copy the traditional designation of individual SS troops (German: “Waffen SS”), one of the symbols of Hitler's Germany and Nazi ideology. However, this is more of a ploy, with the help of which the group expects to attract neo-Nazi youth to the (random) listening of their anti-fascist-anarchist songs, and an attempt to amuse ordinary punk rock listeners. The original name of the band was “Es Eskaliert” (German: “It Rises”), which is consonant with the current name of the group.
