[1] Krishna Das albums contain Hindu bhajans and kirtans of famous mantras such as the Hare Krishna mantra and Om Namah Shivaya mantra. Krishna Das travels extensively, performing concerts and teaching, often with Ram Dass. [1] He also provides meditation courses in collaboration with a famous meditation teacher in the United States, Sharon Salzberg.
In 2013, Krishna Das' album Live Ananda was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best New Age category. [2]
Ram Dass about Krishna Das: “When I lived in India, I often listened to kirtans. I found that I could listen to various performers and feel the depth of their connection with God through the purity of their singing. Krishna Das is an example of a performer whose singing from the heart helps to get in touch with God. ” [3]
