Geography
Kahramanmaras is the easternmost province of the Mediterranean region of Turkey. It borders Osmaniye , Adana , as well as the regions of Central Anatolia , Eastern Anatolia, and South-Eastern Anatolia .
History
Historically, the province is known as Marash, it has ancient settlements.
Population
The population of the province is 1,002,384 inhabitants (2009).
