Biography

Adriano Gabiru is a graduate of the SSA club Maceio , with whom he won the state championship in 1998. Later he played for Atlético Paranaense, in which he won the title of Paraná State three times, and also won the Brazilian championship in 2001. He spent the 2000/01 season in the French Championship , playing for the Marseille Olympic. Upon returning to Brazil, Atletico was twice leased to Cruzeiro.

In 2006, he played for Internacional, and won the Libertadores Cup with his club. In December 2006, Adriano Gabiru’s only goal in the match against Barcelona from the transfer of Pedro Harley allowed Inter to win the title of the strongest club in the world.

After several more team changes in 2009, Adriano Gabiru moved to Guarani from Campinas , then played for Miksto, and since 2011 he has been playing for numerous teams from the lower divisions (including state championships).

Adriano Gabiru played for the Brazilian Olympic team in the qualifying games of the 2000 Sydney Olympics . In addition, he took part in the Confederations Cup 2003 .
