History
It was formed on the basis of a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR on March 23 , 1977 , by allocating part of the territories of the Soviet, Kalinin and Ordzhonikidze districts of the city of Ufa. The creation of the new district was due to the development of industry of the capital of the republic and the growth of its population.
Geography
Over the years of its existence, the district changed its borders twice: in 1986 (the very intensive construction of the Sipaylovo residential district dramatically increased the population of the district, which necessitated the transfer of part of the Oktyabrsky district to Sovetsky and Ordzhonikidzevsky) and in 1992 (to the district the Nagaevsky village council was introduced from the Ufa region of the republic by four settlements: Nagaevo , Zhilino , Zinino , Nagaevsky cordon ).
The territory of the modern Oktyabrsky district is 13 613 ha.
