Moiseev, Mikhail Alekseevich

Born on January 22, 1939 in the village of Maly Iver, in the Svobodnensky District of the Amur Region, in the family of a railway worker. He graduated from high school in 1957. He began his labor activity in July 1957, first as a sailor, then as a boiler driver in the division of auxiliary vessels of the Pacific Fleet .

The military rank of army general was awarded by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 15, 1989 . He became the youngest Soviet general of the army since 1970.
