Team History
Colchester United was formed in 1937 . He played in the Southern Football League until 1950 . In the years 50-90, he was a member of the Third and Fourth Divisions. The club’s greatest achievement during this period was a victory in the fifth round of the FA Cup over Leeds United 1-0 in 1971 .

Stadium
Since the founding of the team, the Leier Road Ground, built back in 1910, has been the home stadium. The new Colchester Arena was built in 2008 and seats 10 105 spectators. It hosts international matches of the national teams of England juniors, women and youth.
