Ransom (film, 1986)

In the mountains of one of the western countries, a group of terrorists blocked a mountain hotel and a nearby children's sanatorium. They threaten with a directed explosion to cause an avalanche to descend on these buildings if the state does not comply with their conditions. Among the hostages are two Soviet drivers of international freight transport from the Sovtransavto company and their foreign colleagues from the socialist camp , one of whom is an old friend of one of the Soviet drivers. Among the many guests from different countries there is also an unknown informant of gangsters coordinating their actions. But truckers friends, at the risk of themselves, expose the informant and decide to save people by lowering them on their road trains along the side of the mountain, before the avalanche begins.
