Seogwipo ( cor. 서귀포시 ? , 西歸浦 市? , Seogwipo-si) is a city in Jeju Province, South Korea . The population of 155 691 people (as of December 31, 2011). In 2002, it became one of the cities that hosted the FIFA World Cup this year. The total budget in 2002 was 524.6 billion won. As a city on the UNESCO World Heritage List , it has great potential for development in various industries, including tourism.
