Jennifer June Row ( born Jennifer June Rowe ; April 2, 1948 , Sydney , Australia ) is a popular Australian writer. Roe writes detective stories for adult readers under his real name, and books for children under the pseudonym Emily Rodda . The most famous of her children's series are “ Magic Belt Tiloara ”, “ Rowan from Rin ”, “ Magic Kingdom ” and “The Magnificent Six ” JSC.

Biography
Jennifer Row was born on April 2, 1948 in Sydney ( Australia ). In 1973 she graduated from the University of Sydney , receiving a master 's degree ( English Master of Arts ) in the field of English literature . She began her career as a junior editor at Hamlyn Publishing House . She then worked for fourteen years with Angus & Robertson at various levels: from editor to director and finally to publisher. In those years, she began to write children's books under the name of Emily Rodd, taking the name of her grandmother as a pseudonym. Jennifer’s first book, “Something Special,” was published in 1984 and was awarded the Australian Children's Readers Award . In total, Jennifer was awarded this award five times [4] .
From 1984 to 1992, Rowe continued to engage in publishing, and later worked as an editor at Australian Women's Weekly , writing was limited to her free time. Since 1994, Rowe has decided to devote most of her working time to writing books. She currently combines writing with advice for publishers. He lives in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales with her husband, Jeffrey Allan Davis, Jr. Iii. He has four children. Daughter Kate Rowe - writes books (some of Teen Power Inc. were co-written with her), sings and writes songs.
Rowe wrote the well-known crime series Verity Birdwood for adults: Grim Pickings ( 1988 ) (filmed as Australian television as a mini-series), Murder by the Book , Death in Store , The Makeover Murders and Strangehold " . Later she also wrote about Detective Tessa Vance in the books “Suspect” (also published as “Deadline” ) and “Something Wicked” ; both books were used in the Australian television show Murder Call . Rowe also acted as the editor of crime stories , Love Lies Bleeding, and participated in the 1997 Crimes for Summer collection with Moonlight Becomes You .

Her books Finders Keepers and The Timekeeper (fiction, 1990 and 1992) are well-known, screened by Australian television as a mini-series The Finder . “Teen Power Inc.” series is another series about the adventures of six teenagers who organized a labor agency, but always end up in some kind of adventure - sometimes deadly.
The latest books by Emily Rodda, the trilogy about the kingdom of Rondo - "The Key To Rondo", "The Wizard of Rondo" and "The Battle for Rondo" are also a huge success. The first of them has already become its third most popular book, and the second is already in sixth place. The first place is taken by her Deltora Quest series .
