American Laser Games ( ALG ) is an American video game company , one of the main producers of interactive films in the 1990s. Located in Albuquerque , New Mexico . It was founded in the late 1980s by Robert Grebe, who had previously created a system for training police officers and decided to adapt it to a wider entertainment market, in particular for arcade arcade machines . Later, due to the weakening of the gaming machine market, the company began to support the 3DO gaming console - both as a way to enter the home video game market and to continue participating in the arcade business by using a cheaper 3DO platform for gaming machines. In 1995, the company released Mazer games for 3DO and Orbatak for arcade machines based on 3DO equipment - their only games not based on FMV technology.

The company continued to operate until the end of the 1990s. In 1995, the company created the label Her Interactive , under which she launched the release of "games for girls" for the IBM PC. This led to financial difficulties and the closure of the company. Shortly before the close of ALG, Her Interactive label split into an independent company and acquired ALG.
In 2000, all rights to ALG games were sold to Her Interactive by Digital Leisure, Inc. Many of the games have been republished by this company for IBM PC and DVD players .
