Yamal 200

Yamal-200 - a series of two satellites created by RSC Energia at the request of Gazcom were launched into geostationary orbits with a standing point of 90 and 49 degrees east longitude with one Proton launch vehicle on November 24, 2003 .

Yamal-200 satellites are expanding the Yamal satellite communications system, which currently includes the Yamal-100 satellite.

The Yamal-201 satellite, equipped with 9 transponders of the C- and 6th Ku-bands, is installed, like the Yamal-100, in the orbital position 90 ° c. It is intended primarily for the development and reservation of networks of customers operating via the Yamal-100 satellite.

The second satellite " Yamal-202 ", installed in the orbital position 49 ° in. It has a semi-global coverage area with 18 C-band transponders to serve Europe, Asia and North Africa.
