Lev Nikolayevich Lavrov ( March 13, 1933 , Shuya - June 26, 1994 , Perm ) - Soviet and Russian scientist, designer and organizer of the production of rocket and space technology , solid propellant engines. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1980), professor (1985), Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences since December 23, 1987 in the Department of Physical and Technical Problems of Energy (Power Engineering), Honored Designer of the Russian Federation (1993).

Biography
In 1968 , Lavrov was appointed chief designer of the Perm Design Bureau of Engineering , since 1985 Lavrov was the general designer and general director of the NGO Iskra .
Under the leadership of Lavrov, solid-fuel propulsion systems were created for several generations of strategic missiles of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces and the Navy .
With the direct participation of Lev Lavrov at the Perm Polytechnic Institute , the department "Designing Machines" was created. Lavrov worked as head of the department from its opening in 1985 until 1994 .
Rewards
Hero of Socialist Labor ( 1984 ), laureate of the Lenin Prize and State Prize , corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
