The Vladimir-Suzdal Historical, Art and Architectural Museum-Reserve is a museum-reserve in the Vladimir Region , uniting a group of unique architectural monuments of Russian residential, defensive and church architecture. The most significant collections are collections of numismatics, archeology, Old Russian art, painting [1] .

The museum-reserve includes architectural monuments located in three cities - Vladimir , Suzdal and Gus-Khrustalny and in two villages - Bogolyubovo and Kideksha , and in 2014, the museum transferred the estate of Khrapovitsky in Muromtsevo (Sudogodsky district).
History
Formed in September 1958 on the basis of two small museums in Vladimir and Suzdal . Currently one of the leading museum associations in Russia.
Composition
The museum-reserve includes 56 monuments of architecture. These are mainly monuments of Old Russian time (XII - early XVIII centuries) - church and civil, stone and wooden, separate buildings and architectural complexes. A number of monuments belong to the provincial time (late XVIII - early XX centuries). The most valuable are the monuments of white-stone architecture of the XII-XIII centuries. The museum organized 35 museum exhibitions in three cities.
Eight monuments and ensembles are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List : White-stone monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal .

- Nudelman, Rafail Ilich - editor at the end of the 1960s;
- Timofeeva, Tatyana Petrovna - Head of the Sector of Architectural Monuments Research in 1977–2018;
- Melnikova, Svetlana Evgenievna - tour guide since 1978, deputy director since 1997, director in 2010-2016 and from 2018. [2]
