Mammillaria Carmen ( lat.Mammillaria carmenae ) - a cactus from the genus Mammillaria . The species was first described in 1953 , but soon after the description it was forgotten. In 1977, reopened by Alfred Lau.

Content
The stem is spherical, 4-10 cm tall, 3-4 cm in diameter, usually single, in the culture stems form groups of about 15 cm wide. Papillae are conical, without milky juice.
There are no central spines. There are more than 100 radial spines; they are white or pale yellow.
Flowers up to 11 mm long and in diameter, white, pink or pale pink. Fruits are 0.6 cm long, greenish.
Endemic to the Mexican state of Tamaulipas . It is found on the northern side of rocky landslides, in cracks among stones, at an altitude of 850-1900 m above sea level.
