Dr pepper

There are several stories of the name of the drink. Some believe that the drink was named after the real doctor Charles Pepper (Dr. Charles T. Pepper), who lived in a village in Virginia, while others believe that the drink is named after pep and energy (“pepper” English: "pepper"), which gives the drink (since the drink was sold as a tonic).

The point after Dr was dropped for stylistic reasons, as well as to improve readability in the 1950s.

• This drink was very fond of Forrest Gump - the main character of the film of the same name .
• In 2008, Dr Pepper promised a free drink to every American except for former guitarists Slash and Buckethead if Guns N 'Roses released their long-awaited Chinese Democracy in 2008. The album was released on November 23, 2008.
• Also, this drink can be seen in the series " The Big Bang Theory ", hear its name in the series " Clinic " and " 90210 ".

Francine, in a conversation with Stan, said that Mr. Pibb is not at all like Dr Pepper.
• In the movie Steel Steel , Max is drinking Dr Pepper all the time.
• In the anime “ Steins; Gate ” and “ Denpa Kyoushi ”, the main characters Rintaro Okabe and Junichiro Kagami drank only Dr Pepper.
• Especially for the Avengers film, a drink line in a new design was released. An advertisement was also issued.
• In the 1994 Nanny film , the Dr Pepper product appears three times - two times as a sauce, and one as a drink: at the moment when Peter prepares food for the guys in the house, he pours Dr Pepper sauce into the food; at the end of the film, the bottle is visible in the restaurant; and when the brothers change the image of the children, one of the guys drinks a drink.

• In the movie “ Explosion from the Past, ” the father of the main character, Calvin, was rumored to be very fond of the hot Dr Pepper, and in one of the cut scenes (in the director’s version) you can see how he heats it on the stove.
• In the amateur quest “The White Chamber” in one of the cupboards you can find a can of Dr Salt in the design of Dr Pepper, which is a direct reference to the original soda. To complete the game, the bank is not used at all.
• In season 4 of the American Horror Story series, the mistress of the freak circus bought a dwarf from a wealthy Indian for three boxes of Dr Pepper.

• In one scene of the film “Wag the Dog”, the main characters drink Dr Pepper.
• In the movie X-Men 2, when Wolverine enters the school cafeteria, he takes out a bottle of Dr Pepper from the locker.
• In the series “ The Knickerbocker Hospital ” (Season 1, Episode 6), in one of the scenes, the protagonist says: “Dr. Pepper's tonic drink is sold in vending machines throughout the city. This is both a refreshing drink and a cure. ”
• In a clip of a South Korean female performer CL called “Dr. Pepper. "
• In the joint track ST and Marselle (Nel feat. L'One) “In your house” - One Hundred Of One Hundred Words - My Doctor - Dr. Pepper, My Baseball Cap is Red.
• In the anime “ Kamisama no Memo-chou, ” the main character Alice’s diet is made up of ramen and Dr Pepper ^[1] , while the latter is probably consumed in excessive amounts, which can be judged by the constant episodes of consumption in the frame and a refrigerator filled exclusively cans with a drink.
• In the composition "Several Friends" of the Astrakhan group "Anacondaz" there is an appeal to Dr. Pepper, which is a reference to the drink.
• In the 4th season of the series " Preacher (television series) " - Dr Papper Diet - God's favorite drink.
