Career
In 1991 he became the champion of the Pan American Games , in 1993 - the champion of the Games of the countries of Central America and the Caribbean .

Doom
Roberto Balado was preparing to participate in the Goodwill Games and was the most likely contender for gold at the 1996 Olympic Games (which ultimately went to Wladimir Klitschko ), however, on July 2, 1994, at the age of 25, he died in a car accident when his car died out on a railway moving to Havana and was crushed by a train.
