“Hot Ice” is a story about the fate of people who closely linked their lives to figure skating. The entire series shows the ins and outs of big sport from the inside: tears and happiness during victories, incorruptible love and betrayal, true friendship and backstage intrigues.

Story
Russian championship. The wards of Trofimov - Rokotov and Belkevich have no competitors. In addition, his daughter Natasha, paired with V. Molodtsov, has a chance of bronze. But Natalya is injured, doctors forbid her to ride.
At this time, figure skater Anna Berkovskaya returned from America with nothing - Natasha’s girlfriend and former lover of Viktor, the groom and partner of Natasha. Trofimov refuses to train the “runaway”, none of the other coaches also agrees to train her.
Having recovered after an injury, Natasha decides to become a coach and puts her husband in a pair with her friend Berkovskaya. The old romance resumes and almost immediately after the wedding of Trofimov and Molodtsov part. Another married couple - Loginova - Brattsev breaks up. Loginova begins to train in tandem with Molodtsov, and Berkovskaya - with Brattsev.
A couple of lovers comes from Barnaul. They are both athletes. She is Luda (pair skating), he is Roma (single skating). Lyuda Izmailov does not undertake to train a single coach. She goes to the ballet Zolotareva. Roma takes to train Trofimov. As a result, Roma becomes the champion of Russia, and Berkovskaya-Brattsev take third place in dancing. Natasha is rejoicing. Their rivals, Molodtsov-Loginov, failed miserably. Molodtsov leaves for France. Luda is kicked out of ballet. They found a replacement - Vera Loginova. However, this is not for long.
Maxim Voronin, who became the champion of this country, will soon return from the USA. And standing up with him, Loginova will throw a ballet, thereby harming Zolotareva’s business. Luda in a strange way gets money for his operation. He flies to Israel. Voronin provokes Natasha. Scandalous articles about a young coach appear in newspapers. Soon Korneev removes her from work. The partner of Nikolai, Sasha Belkevich, tragically dies. Nikolai in mourning: she was his partner not only on ice. Wife Elena takes her son Nikita to London to her new husband. Trofimov finds Nikolai a new partner - Vika Polonskaya.
