Studio Quarter-95

There are several spellings of the company name. The company is registered under the name "Studio Quarter-95" ( Ukrainian. "Studio Quarter-95" ) ^[1] . In 2002, on the basis of the creative team of the KVN team “ 95th Quarter ”, in order to implement their own creative ideas, produce and promote show projects and entertainment TV shows on television and radio, “Studio 95” was created.

In December 2003, the studio, together with the Studio 1 + 1 and STS television channels ( Russia ), began production of a cycle of five concerts dedicated to the most significant holidays of 2004.

In 2005, the studio signed a contract with the Inter TV channel, and since 2007 they began working on exclusive terms. The studio produced television projects “ Evening Quarter ”, “ Evening Kiev ” and “ Laugh the Comedian ” ^[6] .

On March 2, 2006, at the International Media Competition, the studio team was awarded the Golden Pen Award of Ukraine in the category of Best Television Entertainment Program. In addition, award winners:

• Annual Cover of the Year Award. Special nomination: “Star on the Cover” 2005.
• Prize of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting " Teletriumph ". Nomination: “Entertaining program of 2006”.

In 2007, an agreement was signed with the Inter TV channel on exclusive cooperation.

In 2009, the first film shot under the script “Studio Quarter 95” “ Love in the Big City ” was released. One of the main roles in it was played by Vladimir Zelensky .

In 2009, Studio Quarter 95 changed the composition of its shareholders: the main owner of the asset instead of brothers Sergey and Boris Shefir, as well as production manager Vladimir Zelensky was the Cyprus Art Fox Studios Ltd , which, according to market participants, is associated with the owner of Inter , the oligarch Valery Khoroshkovsky ^[6] .

In October 2012, Inter suspended cooperation with Studio Kvartal 95 due to higher prices for its products, and the studio entered into an agreement with 1 + 1 TV channel ^[6] . According to market participants, the annual contract with the studio cost Inter $ 23 million. According to experts, for 1 + 1 the rights to broadcast the Evening Quarter and Evening Kiev (21 issues per year) were estimated at $ 9 million in year; The cost of one issue of the “ Make a Comedian ” program (published weekly), according to experts, was approximately $ 310 thousand per program. In 2019, Vladimir Zelensky, the participant and creator of Studio Quarter 95, was elected president of Ukraine, Sergey Shefir became an adviser to the president, Yuri Koryavchenkov became a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ...
