UEFA European Under-21 Championship (1980/1981) - 11½ points out of 13. As part of the Swedish team, he participated in the European Championship (1980, Skara), where he won a beautiful game against M. Tal. He participated in three chess competitions (1996–2000) for the Swedish team, gaining 15 points in 28 games (+9, = 12, −7) and in 2 European team championships (1997–1999).

The best results in international competitions: Copenhagen ( 1982 ) - 2-5th; Stockholm ( 1982/1983 and 1983/1984) - 1st and 3rd — 6th; Bela-Crkva (1984) - 2-7th; Barcelona ( 1987 ) - 1-3.
