Biography
Govinazzo was born and raised in New York , was actively involved in sports at Wagner College [1] , dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player , but was forced to abandon this dream because of a back injury [2] . First starred in short and independent films, in 1997 starred in a cameo role in a pilot episode of the popular television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer . He played supporting roles in films such as The Fall of the Black Hawk , For the Love of the Game , and Billy 's Hollywood Kiss . In 2002, he starred in the episodic role of a street racer in one of the episodes of the series " CSI: Crime Scene ". From 2004 to 2013 he starred in the spin-off of this series, " CSI: Crime Scene New York, " in the role of one of the main characters, detective Danny Messer.
