Infrastructure
The Urmara-Shorkistra-Yantikovo motorway passes through the village. The Orthodox Church of St. John the Theologian is located in the village. It was built at the expense of parishioners in 1893-1898. The five-headed, mono-triad, wooden on a stone foundation. Felled from a bar, trimmed with a chaise, retained its original appearance.

Nature
The settlement is located within the Chuvash Plateau at the source of the Small Anish River . The relief is represented by a hilly plateau, mostly covered with deciduous forests, dissected by numerous ravines into a series of gentle ridges and separate elevations. The length of the ravines varies from 100–200 m to 2–3.5 km, and its depth varies from 1 to 10 m. Near the village there are deposits of brick loam and clay. The field is operated by the Shorkistrin cooperative. In forests there are moose , foxes , hares , wolves , wild boars , and from game birds - grouse and grouse are very rare. Near the village on the banks of the picturesque lake in the forest is the recreation center "Sapaskar".
