The first generation was first introduced to the general public at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 .
Engine
There are 2 types of engines:
- Petrol 1KR 1 l., 68 h.p. I3
- Diesel DV4 1.4L., 55 HP I4
Gearbox
There are 2 types: 5-speed manual and robotic 2-Tronic.
Features
There are 3- and 5-door hatchback body options. The boot lid is made entirely of glass. There is no cover on the glove compartment (glove box). The windows of the rear side doors on five-door cars come off as side windows. The rear side doors of the 5-door models are adjacent to the taillights, completely hiding the rear pillar.
Russian market
In early July 2010, the Russian representative office of Citroën announced the start of sales of the C1 model in the Russian market in the middle of the same month. The only engine available is gas. In the basic equipment, the car received ABS, two airbags and a trajectory correction system when braking in corners. The cost of the three-door version ranged from 350,000 rubles, a five-door hatchback cost from 383,000 rubles [1] .
