The Yearbook of Imperial Theaters is a periodical in the Russian Empire . Produced in St. Petersburg in 1892-1915 by the Directorate of Imperial Theaters .
The yearbook contained extensive factual background material. In particular, it published information about the repertoire of the imperial theaters of St. Petersburg and Moscow , outlined the content and stage history of the plays, indicated the dates of their performance, gave information about the actors, posted information about the activities of the Theater and Literary Committee, chronicle.
From the 1893/94 season to the 1905/06 season, there were appendices to the annual, from one to six per year. They contained articles, studies and other materials. Since 1909, the yearbook has been issuing: in 1909 - 7 issues, in 1910 - 8, in 1911-1914 - 6-7 each.
The editors of the publication were Anatoly Molchanov , Sergey Dyagilev , Pyotr Gnedich , Nikolai Drizen , etc.
Authors include N. N. Evreinov , E. M. Braudo , E. A. Stark (Siegfried) , V. Ya. Svetlov , A. Ya. Levinson , V. P. Lachinov , other figures of theatrical culture.
Editions
September 30, 2015 of the Yearbook of the Imperial Theaters edition for 1897–1903 and 1911–1913. (in 11 books) were sold at the auction of the antique house "Kabinet" for 130,000 rubles [1] .
