History

It was named in 1982 in honor of I.V. Tyulenev - the Soviet military commander, Hero of the Soviet Union , the full cavalier of the badge of the Order of St. George , army general , about which the annotation signs installed at the beginning and end of the street - at houses No. 3 and No. 41 are notified. In 1995, another commemorative plaque was installed on the house number 1.

Infrastructure

At the very beginning of the street (on the square formed by the intersection of General Tyulenev and Teply Stan ), there is a large grocery and hardware store “Perekrestok-Zeus” (formerly a supermarket), as well as a grocery and hardware store “ Billa ” (formerly “Haberdashery”) , the Troika restaurant (formerly Tbilisi), the branch and ATM of Sberbank . Further down the street there is a MGIMO dormitory, school No. 931, several kindergartens, a school feeding factory, a dovecote, a dog walking area, a number of small shops: Perekrestok , Pyaterochka chain store, Bezik kitchen cafe, Tiflis kitchen, bomb shelter premises, hairdresser Viola-96, Solnechny pool, Tyoply Stan hardware store, pharmacy, post office, Sberbank branch, gas station, Nissan dealership and traffic police stationary post.

Transport

Near the house number 37 is the terminal of the public transport " 5th microdistrict of Teply Stan ." Bus routes: 2C, 227, 235, 264 and 647. Also, a minibus taxi line number 540 passes along the street.

Until 1994, at the beginning of the street, there was the final stop of bus route No. 144 (the 7th microdistrict of Teply Stan - Kaluga Square ), which followed all along Leninsky Prospekt . Currently, the route taxi number 553 runs along the route of this route.

Ulitsa General Tyuleneva metro station

During the visit of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin to China, on May 19, 2014 in Beijing , an agreement was signed between Mosinzhproekt OJSC, China Railway Construction Corporation and the China International Fund on the construction of the Moscow Metro Kommunarskaya line at the expense of Chinese investors [1] . Among the stops on the new line, the Ulitsa General Tyuleneva metro station was announced [2] .

“We are now actively working on a project for planning a new metro line. All land plots for construction have already been identified, ”said Moscow Deputy Mayor for Urban Policy and Construction Marat Khusnullin [3] [4] .

According to official information, the metro station "General Tyulenev Street" will be located between the 6th and 7th microdistricts of Teply Stan [2] , which corresponds to the territory at the very beginning of General Tyulenev Street, between the shopping and social center with the Billa store (d 4) and Teply Stan street .
