Career
Jules Devakez began his career in 1915 at the Saint-Denis Club. In 1917, he moved to the Olympic Pantin club (later the club became known as the Olympic Paris ), in which Devakez won the French Cup in 1918, and a year later the Olympic reached the final of the tournament, but lost to the CAS club . During a game in the Olympics, Devakez made his debut in the French national team in a match on January 18, 1920 against Italy , in which the French were defeated 4: 9. After the match with Italy, despite the defeat, Devakez became a solid player in the foundation of the national team, participating in all the games of the French in 1920, including two matches of the 1920 Olympics in Antwerp .
