Childhood

Pit Bull was born January 15, 1981 in a family of Cuban immigrants in Miami , Florida . When he was 3 years old, he could already read the poems of the Cuban national hero and poet Jose Marti [1] . He also encountered problems at the beginning of his rapper career because he was a white-skinned with blue eyes, a native of the southern state, and a Cuban. [6] He was influenced by the genre of pop music Miami bass [5] , and Celia Cruz and Willy Chirino became a source of inspiration for his music [7] . Peres's parents broke up when he was little, he was raised by his mother; he later spent time in Roswell, Georgia [8] . His mother kicked him out of the house when he became a drug dealer, like his father. He went to the South Miami Senior High School Elementary School , and graduated from Miami Coral Park High School High School and focused on the rapper's career.

After meeting in Miami with Lil John [8] , Pit Bull participated in the recording of the album Lil John and “East Side Boyz” Kings of Crunk in 2002. [5] Pit Bull's song “Oye” became the soundtrack for the movie The Fast and the Furious next year [8] ] . In 2001, Pit Bull met Robert Fernandez of Famous Artist Music & Management, an independent label and management company specializing in promoting artists through Diaz Brothers , a production duet working for the company. Fernandez “saw in him zeal and longing” and after a deal with Luke Records began to spin Pitbull. Together they focused on creating tunes in the radio format. Fernandez later told HitQuarters : “At that time, his music had a lot of poems and it took a long time to get to the hook, so we started writing more catchy songs with less rap.”

Fernandez introduced Pit Bull to Lil John with the goal of spotlighting at least a bit of a rapper on Lil John's upcoming Kings of Crunk album. According to Fernandez, John liked Perez so much that he offered him his track for the album “Pitbull's Cuban Ride Out” and the collaboration that made the young rapper famous [10] .
