By the law of the Astrakhan region dated June 3, 2015 No. 32/2015-OZ [11], the Oranzhereininsky and Fedorovsky village councils were merged into the Oranzhereininsky village council with an administrative center in the village of Orangery .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated May 26, 2016 No. 23/2016-OZ [12], the Eastern , Ikryaninsky and Ozernovsky village councils were merged into the Ikryaninsky village council with an administrative center in the village of Ikryanoye .

The Law of the Astrakhan Region dated April 10, 2018 N 31/2018-ОЗ [13] Zyuzinsky and Mumrinsky Village Councils were merged into the Mumrinsky Village Council with an administrative center in the village of Mumra .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated June 3, 2015 No. 31/2015-OZ [15] the Chapaevsky and Karalatsky village councils were merged into the Karalatsky village council with an administrative center in the village of Karalat .

By the Law of the Astrakhan Region dated June 29, 2015 No. 42/2015-OZ [16] , the municipalities “ Chagan Village” and “ Uvarinsky Village Council ” were merged into the municipal formation “ Chagan Village Council ” with the administrative center in the village of Chagan .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated September 5, 2017 No. 46/2017-OZ [17] , the Lebyazhinsky , Obraztsovo-Travinsky and Poldnevsky village councils were merged into the Obraztsovo-Travinsky village council with the administrative center in the village of Obraztsovo-Travino .


Krasnoyarsk district

The Law of the Astrakhan Region dated September 4, 2015 No. 57/2015-OZ [18] , the administrative-territorial units and municipalities “ Zabuzansky Village Council ”, “Krasnoyarsk Village Council” and “ Village Cheryomukha ” were transformed, by combining them, into an administrative-territorial unit and municipality " Krasnoyarsk Village Council " with an administrative center in the village of Krasny Yar .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated November 5, 2015 No. 67/2015-OZ [19] , on January 1, 2016, by combining them, the administrative-territorial units and municipalities “Buzansky Village Council” and “ Verkhnebuzansky Village Council ” were transformed into an administrative-territorial unit and the Buzansky Village Council municipality with an administrative center in the village of Novourusovka .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated November 27, 2015 No. 83/2015-OZ [20] , by combining, the administrative-territorial units and municipalities “Baybeksky village council” and “ Yubileyninsky village council ” were transformed into an administrative-territorial unit and municipal unit “ Baibek Village Council ”with an administrative center in the village of Baibek .

The Law of the Astrakhan Region dated June 17, 2016 No. 35/2016-OZ [21] , October 1, 2016 abolished the " Aksaray Village Council " together with the only settlement of the village of Aksaray .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated August 1, 2016 No. 48/2016-OZ [22] on October 1, 2016, through their unification, the municipalities and administrative-territorial units “Vatazhensky Village Council”, “ Krivobuzan Village Council ” and “ Village Karaozek ” - in the " Vatazhensky village council " with the administrative center in the village of Vatazhnoe .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated 10 April 2018 No. 32/2018-OZ [23] , through their unification, the municipalities and administrative-territorial units “the village of Maly Aral ” and “ Stepnovsky Village Council ” were transformed into the “ Aksaray Village Council ” with the administrative center in the village of Stepnoy .

By the law of the Astrakhan region dated May 25, 2017 No. 23/2017-OZ [25] , through their unification, the municipalities and administrative-territorial units of the Biryuchekosinsky Village Council , the Budarinsky Village Council , the Kamyshov Village Council , and the Karavannian Village Council were transformed , " Kryazhevinsky Village Council ", "Worker Village Liman", " Mikhailovsky Village Council ", " Novogeorgievsky Village Council ", " Protochensky Village Council " and " Market Village Council " in the urban settlement " Worker Village Liman " with the administrative center in the working village Estuary.

History

The Astrakhan region was formed by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR No. 803/1 of December 27, 1943 . Initially, the region was divided into 17 districts: Vladimirovsky , Enotaevsky , Zelenginsky , Ikryaninsky , Kamyzyaksky , Kapustinojarsky , Caspian , Krasnoyarsky , Limansky , Marfinsky , Narimanovsky , Nikolsky , Volga regions, Sasykolsky , Stepnovsky , Travinsky and Kharabalinsky .

In 1947, the Chernoyarsky district was formed .

In 1956, the Kapustinojarsky district was abolished.

In 1957, the Caspian and Stepnovsky regions moved to the recreated Kalmyk Autonomous Region . In the same year, the Nikolsky district was abolished.

In 1963 Zelenginsky, Limansky, Marfinsky, Volga, Sasykolsky, Travinsky and Chernoyarsky districts were abolished.

In 1964, the Chernoyarsk region was restored. A year later, Volodarsky and Limanskiy districts were formed.

In 1975, the Vladimirovsky district was renamed Akhtubinsky, and in 1980 the Volga region was formed .

Since January 1, 2006, in accordance with the Law of the Astrakhan Region of July 22, 2004 “On Establishing the Borders of Municipalities and Giving them the Status of a Rural, Urban Settlement, Urban District, Municipal District” [4], the Astrakhan Region is divided into 2 urban districts and 11 municipal areas .
