Lilian Semper ( Estonian Lilian Semper ; October 30, 1933 - December 12, 2007 ) is an Estonian pianist and music teacher. Daughter of Johannes Semper , niece of artist Adamson-Eric .

Biography
She studied piano with her mother, then at the Tartu School of Music (not graduated), at the Tallinn School of Music (graduated in 1952, student Irmgard Kaudre ).
She received her secondary education at the 7th secondary school in Tallinn, then graduated from the Tallinn Conservatory ( 1957 ) with Hello Sepp and the graduate school of the Moscow Conservatory with Jacob Zack .
She has performed since 1958 as a soloist and in a duet (especially often with violinist Mati Kärmas ). She recorded about 40 sonatas for violin and piano, solo works by Johann Sebastian Bach , Fryderyk Chopin , Bela Bartok , Velho Tormis and others. According to educator Semper Helio Sepp,
She, as a performer, is characterized by accuracy and simplicity, aesthetic perfection, technical mastery, but this, perhaps, is not the most characteristic. The originality of Lilian’s game also lies in the spirit of calm thought, unhurried breadth, and picturesqueness with which it presents the audience with works of musical art [1] .
Since 1961 , she taught at the Estonian Academy of Music. Of the students Semper most famous Irina Zakharenkova .
