Career
Gaming
Mathias Cardacio, a graduate of Nacional , made his debut at the base of the team in 2007, the same year he played in the Libertadores Cup in the match against Veles Sarsfield . In 2007, Cardacio played 19 matches in the championship and 9 in the Libertadores Cup, as well as 7 matches and a penalty goal in the next 2008 in the Libertadores Cup. It is curious that on the T-shirt, Cardacio instead of the player’s name was written by Bocha (which means “ head ” in Argentinean Spanish), for this the fans nicknamed him Bochita ( Golovushka ).
On June 30, 2008, Cardacio was bought by Milan, along with his compatriot Tabara Videdes, for about 4.5 million euros. Cardacio signed a contract with Milan, despite the fact that Boca Juniors , Atlético Madrid , Villarreal , Juventus and Lazio wanted to see a talented Uruguayan in their ranks, the contract was executed at the Italian Football Federation on August 4. As part of Milan, Cardacio made his debut on December 3 in the Italian Cup match against Lazio, replacing Andriy Shevchenko in the 85th minute.
On August 29, 2009, Cardacio terminated the contract with Milan by mutual agreement. [1] A little later, it announced the signing of a contract with Banfield .
In February 2013, he returned to Europe, signing a contract with the Greek Asteras Tripoli [2] .
