"Lenin University of Millions" - Soviet television and radio broadcasts; prepared by the Main editions of propaganda of the Central Television and All-Union Radio . It was a lecture on the theory of Marxism-Leninism or comments on a particular work of V. I. Lenin .

Radio and television programs were aired, usually at the beginning of the evening, at a time popular among listeners and viewers. The radio broadcast was on the I program of the All-Union Radio from 1970 to 1982 (1 time per week, at 18:40, transmission duration 20 minutes) [1] . The telecast of the same name was aired on the first program of the Central Television from 1966 to 1985 (once a week at 18:30, duration 30 minutes) [2] . Telecasts highlighted the problems of Marxist-Leninist philosophy, the history of the CPSU, political economy, scientific communism [2] . Radio broadcasts were prepared by the journalists G.Vinogradova, V.Kuchin, K.Voevodina, authoritative scientists who were engaged in Marxist-Leninist theory gave lectures that were adapted to the popular level. Once a month, a letter transmission was broadcast on the radio - “Mail of the Lenin University of Millions” [1] .
As part of the program, many genres, methods for constructing programs, and forms of interaction with the viewer were tried. The TV show, according to the then editor-in-chief of Training Television Vilen Egorov, was the most massive distributor of political and economic knowledge in the country.
Leonid Parfyonov said in an interview with the Odessa television channel Duma TV on 06/01/17 that the Lenin University of Millions was an excellent program, but there was one drawback - no one watched it [3] .
