“Smart things” is a Soviet musical film- tale , staged at the Lenfilm film studio in 1973 by director Anatoly Granik based on the fairy tale of the same name by Samuel Marshak .

Content
Story
At a fair in an ordinary shop, an old man sells magical things: a self-assembled tablecloth , boots , boots , an invisible hat . The self-honking pipe and the magic mirror pleased the poor musician, but he had no money. The old man gave him these things on condition that he would return them in a year. But not only the musician liked these things: the rich man decided to pick them up, deceiving the musician and sending him to prison. But magical things did not bring the rich man neither money nor happiness.
