Yakov Abramovich Kozlovsky ( July 29, 1921 , Istra , Russia - June 1, 2001 , Moscow , Russia ) - Russian Soviet poet and translator. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1944. Honored Artist of the Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1960).

Biography
Born July 29, 1921 in the city of Istra (now the Moscow region ). In 1939, drafted into the army, served on the western border. From the beginning of World War II , he was the junior commander of the 136th regiment of the 97th Rifle Division , and since 1942, the litso worker of the 28th Army Red Banner newspaper. He was seriously wounded in 1943, was dismissed from the army after being wounded in the fall of 1944.
He graduated from the Literary Institute. A.M. Gorky in 1949. Laureate of the Suleiman Stalsky Prize - 1972; Prizes named after N. S. Tikhonov - 1982 [2] .
The author of the poems (included in the collection "Diverse Rumor", 1992), the translator G. Tsadasa , R. G. Gamzatova , K. Sh .
Since 1957 he lived in the cooperative "Moscow Writer", Chernyakhovsky Street , house 4. Periodically, he left to work in the Writers' Creative Center "Peredelkino".
He died on July 1, 2001 . He was buried at the Khimki cemetery in Moscow.
