The Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (EGRIP) is the state register of the Russian Federation containing data on all individual entrepreneurs (previously, the Russian Federation used the equivalent concepts of “entrepreneur without a legal entity” and “private entrepreneur”) registered in the Russian Federation , as well as data on their re-registration or liquidation .

The procedure for state registration and entering data on newly registered individual entrepreneurs in the Unified State Register of Enterprises is established by law and is carried out in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs” dated August 8, 2001 N 129-ФЗ.

In order for an individual entrepreneur to perform any legally significant action, it is necessary to obtain a document such as an extract from the Unified State Register of Enterprises. The information extract from the USRIP contains complete data on an individual entrepreneur who has passed the state registration procedure: registration data, information identifying an individual , information on types of economic activity , as well as data on registration with tax authorities and funds.
An extract from the USRIP can be ordered at the tax office or through the Internet - on the website of the Federal Tax Service . When ordering an extract via the Internet, it can be obtained of your choice in electronic or paper form. When ordering an extract on paper, you can get it at the tax authority or by post.
