Trunevs (Trunevs, Trunovs) - one of the oldest Transbaikal surnames.
For the first time, the saltman Isachko Trunev was mentioned in the petition of July 22, 1700 in the name of Peter I. Isai Trunev, probably until 1700 left Usolye to Selenginsk . In 1720, the posadsky Isai Trunev was reported dead in Ilyinsky prison .
In the XIX century, the Trunevs were recorded in the merchants of Verkhneudinsk . According to the "Vedomosti on the announced capital from the Upper Uda merchants" the merchant family of the Trunevs consisted of 7 people: Anna Ivanovna Truneva - 64 years old; she has sons: Ivan - 37, Vasily - 33, Methodius - 27, Dmitry - 25, Ivan - 19 years old; grandson Tivurtiy - 9 months (died in April 1900). Anna Ivanovna Truneva was in the 3rd merchant guild with an declared capital of 8,000 rubles. Her husband Vasily Methodievich Trunev in 1807 was a merchant of the 3rd guild. In 1807, together with his son Ivan enrolled in the 1st Guild, but soon returned to the 3rd.
Tivurtiy Ivanovich Trunev from January 1, 1889 [1] to January 1, 1893 was the headman of the Verkhneudinsky Spassky Church . His son Pyotr Tivurtievich Trunev , a merchant of the 2nd guild, traded in iron products, from July 30, 1899 to April 12, 1901, the mayor of Verkhneudinsk.
