In 2002, the reconstruction of the reservoir was completed, during which, in order to prevent flooding, a new drainage channel was built, the supporting structures of the dams were strengthened, which increased the volume of the tank's displacement from 15 to 30 million m³. About 1 million dollars were spent on the reconstruction of the reservoir. [one]
