Description
The stem is bluish-green, flat-spherical, in adulthood reaches 10 cm in diameter. Ribs about 10, look fused from densely sitting rounded tubercles.
There are no central spines. Radial - 5, they are ivory, with a red base, located on the pubescent areoles . There are varieties with white, yellow and red-brown spines.
The flowers are very decorative, white with a red pharynx, about 6 cm high.
Distribution
It occurs in the Argentinean province of Cordoba .
