Grigory Grigorievich Sologub ( July 19, 1961 , Leningrad - February 27, 2009 , St. Petersburg ) [1] [2] - Russian musician, younger brother of Viktor Sologub .

Biography

Born and raised in Leningrad . Suffered from congenital heart disease.

He graduated from the musical cultural enlightenment school in the department of "folk instruments" and the Leningrad State Institute of Culture. N.K. Krupskaya . He began his musical career in the Technical Assistance group as a student at LETI . In 1982 he became a member of the Strange Games group, in which he was a singing guitarist, accordionist and showman. In 1986, he created the “ Games ” group together with his elder brother Victor, which continued the traditions of the predecessor, only in the post-punk style. In parallel to participating in his own groups, he played in Sergey Kuryokhin 's Pop Mechanics .

Since 1992 he played in the groups " Israel " and " People’s Militia ". In the same year, together with his brother, he took part in the resuscitation of “Strange Games” for the anniversary. In parallel with The Strange Games, the Sologub brothers played in The Calls and The Dolphins .

Since 1997 - a member of the 2va Aircraft group. Occasionally he played in the Deadushki group with his brother Viktor and a colleague in the Strange Games Alexei Rakhov .

He died late in the evening of February 27 at the Mariinsky Hospital in St. Petersburg at the 48th year of life from heart failure due to congenital endocarditis. He was buried on March 4, 2009 at the Kuzmolovsky cemetery ( Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region) [3] .
