Biography
He began to play in the Sports School (Ordzhonikidze) in 1969. The first coach is N. A. Sharikov. Since 1973 he studied at the sport boarding school (Kiev).
In 1977-80 (until June) - at Dynamo (Kiev), 1980 (since July) - at Chornomorets (Odessa).
He advocated for:
- SKA (Odessa) - 1981-82
- CSKA - 1982
- Dnipro (Dnepropetrovsk) - 1983-88, 1994 (from September)

In the USSR championships he played 188 matches, scored 48 goals: Dnipro - 134 (45); CSKA - 21 (3); "Chernomorets" - 15; Metallurg - 12; Dynamo - 6.
In European competitions - 14 matches, 2 goals ( Champions Cup - 6 (1), UEFA Cup - 8 (1).
An individually strong player, had good dribbling, was distinguished by non-standard game decisions in completing attacks and goal flair. However, it had a number of drawbacks (lack of skill in the game without the ball), which is why it could not fully realize its great potential [2] .
He was supposed to become the champion of the USSR in 1988, but because of a serious injury, he played only four matches in a season and did not receive a medal.
