Antonio Zamperla SPA is an Italian mechanical attraction company headquartered in Altavilla Vicentina, province of Vicenza , was founded in 1966. In 1976, several branches were opened in the United States.
The company specializes in the production of portable (some of them are popular roller coaster models) and foundation attractions, both for amusement parks and for indoor shopping and entertainment centers.
History
The history of Zamperla begins in the mid-nineteenth century with the circus activities of Angelo Zamperla - great-grandfather of Alberto Zamperla, the current president of the company, and goes until the beginning of the twentieth century, when Alberto (grandfather) began managing one of the first mobile movie theaters in Italy.
In the USA, Zamperla began selling in 1970 . Today, Zamperla Incorporated in Parsippany, New Jersey , USA sells rides and provides essential services throughout North America.
