Initially, the team was created to advance Horner through the ranks. Thanks to sponsor Viktor Maslov, Arden began to show good results and became the best team in the International Formula 3000, showed the world new talents, for example: Darren Manning , Tomasz Enge , Björn Wirdheim and Vitantonio Luzzi .
The team received two league titles (in 2003 with Wirdheim and in 2004 with Luzzi), scored 334 points, won 15 races and 20 poles in Formula 3000 .
In 2005, Arden remained in this series, which was renamed GP2 , and earned second place in the team standings with Heikki Kovalainen and Nicolas Lapierre and second place in the individual standings for Kovalainen.
In 2006, Arden continued to perform with Lapierre and rookie Michael Ammermüller ( Neil Yani replaced Lapierre when he was injured in Monaco ). This year, Arden's results fell very much, only 57 points were earned (compared to 126 earned in the previous one).
For 2007 , Arden signed a contract with Bruno Senna , the nephew of three-time Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna and South African pilot Adrian Zaugg .
In 2008, the team was named "Trust Team Arden", after the advent of the Dutch title sponsor Trust . The Swiss pilot Sebastien Buemi and the Dutchman Elmer Bürman were signed.
Arden also took part in the first season of the A1 Grand Prix under the name " Great Britain Team A1 Racing ."
