LZK - Latvian Television Information Channel ( Latvian. Latvijas Ziņu Kanāls ). LZK began broadcasting in 2006. Initially, the channel was available only to residents of the Latvian capital . In 2007, LZK broadcasts began throughout the country. The air covers in detail the main world events, information about life in Latvia, news of the economy, sports, and culture. The LZK channel works closely with the Latvian national news agency LETA , with the LNT information service, as well as with regional television companies in Latvia [1] . LZK is broadcast digitally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
