Philammon ( ancient Greek Φιλάμμων ) - in ancient Greek mythology [1] the great musician, son of Apollo and Hiony (also known as Philonides [2] ; or Apollo and Levkonoi [3] ).
The husband of Argiopa , the father of Famirida [4] . According to Ferekid, argonavt [5] .
He won singing at competitions in Delphi [6] . Established the sacrament of Demeter in Lern, he was attributed to the story about it, recorded on the heart of Orihalka in Doric dialect [7] .
He died in the war against Phlegia , having moved with the detachment of the Argives to help Delphas [8] .
