History
Vocalist and songwriter Oksana Chush was born in a military family, traveled with her father half the country, lived in the Crimea, and beyond the Arctic Circle. [2] In 1996 Oksana sang in the group Hotel Madness . In November 1996 [2] she and guitarist / vocalist / songwriter Alexander Radnaskel [2] (Penkov) decided to record an acoustic album, for which they invited percussionist John Kukarembu . Soon they were joined by guitarist Mikhail Machinistov, and in this roster the band began to play actively in Moscow clubs. The original name of the group was simply “Regular parts”, it was thought up by the administrator Yulia Shutova; later the word "... Adventurers" was added to the title. [3]
In February 1997, the Machinists left the band and Ksiava Chernaya (bass guitar) came out. In March 1997, Andrei Mifodin (solo guitar) arrives. But the band plays with them only until September, when keyboard player Marina Khaustova and bass guitar player Eldar from the group Malyuta Skuratov joined the “Regular Parts”. At the same time, session musicians take part in the concerts - keyboard player Janis Survilo and bass guitarist from the group Tzhno Mikhail Mitrofanov, who remained a full-time bass guitar player until Boris Dolmatov appeared in November 1997 among The Adventurers. Boris brought drummer Garik Bagdagyulyan from the RAAG group and guitarist Garik Kireev from the Name group. Kireev led bassist George Titov. In this line-up they recorded the first album. [2]
Over the following years, the composition of the musicians changed several times, however, in addition to Oksana Chush, Boris Dolmatov ( guitar ) and John Kukaremba ( percussion ) were constantly included in his “core”. RFA with songs by Oksana Chush in electric disco-punk treatment were recognized as the brightest phenomenon of the club rock scene of 1997-1999. In one program, the group often combined simple dance songs and lyrical ballads with lyrics about a heavy female beat, rock and roll, and stage action.
The group took part in many festivals: in 1997 - “Unity”, “ Holiday of the Ruined Childhood ”, “Subway”, in 1998 - “Singing Me”, “Found Generation”, “Against the Wind”, in 1999 - again “Unity”, festival in Chernogolovka, the Holiday "MK" (playground "Ruined childhood"), an alternative Day of the city "Informal Moscow", in 2000 - again "The holiday of the ruined childhood". In 2001 the band hit the Sirin female vocal festival in Tyumen .
In the early 2000s, the musicians of the group dispersed, and Oksana Chush occasionally performed to the accompaniment of her husband, bassist Robert Musin [4] , and recruited a new composition.
In 2002, Oksana participated in the TV show “The Secular Chronicles ”, where her songs were used [5] [6] . In the same year, the singer had a daughter. Oksana's songs were also included into the soundtrack of another television series “ Young and happy ” ( 2005 ) [7] .
In an interview with 2003, Oksana talked about her plans: [8]
Wait a big break. Because, first of all, as I already said, the group will be renamed. Secondly, we will change the style, the repertoire and everything. Tune in to calm music, to beautiful songs - more melodic than rhythmic. |
In 2006, the group still performed under its original name. Then the group actually ceased operations for several years. The resumption of the performance took place in the fall of 2017 : the group with a partially renewed composition gave several concerts, including introducing new songs.

Creativity Reviews
- Maxim Kononenko (Mr. Parker): [9]
Shy girl of piercing beauty with a defiant name Oksana Nonsense disappears as soon as she starts singing. Instead, a crazy kaleidoscope of images, styles, stamps, emotions, characters, roles appears on the scene. And above all this, it hovers, fills the space and penetrates the narrowest slits of your memory into her incredible voice, the number of shades beyond the calculation. Alla Pugacheva , Zhanna Aguzarova , Mireille Mathieu , Irina Bogushevskaya , Alyona Apina , Diamanda Galas , Ima Sumac and Montserrat Caballie - they are all in Oksana's voice ... Oksana Chush - the queen of Moscow decadence, Mark Almond in a skirt, “peteushnitsa and a social woman” whose gods ride the sky in a black limousine. |
- Alexey Mazhaev (InterMedia): [10]
The songs of “RFA” are influenced by the romance , or chanson (in the good sense of the word) with small patches of rock and blues, but on the whole Oksana’s music should be distinguished in a special style, the name of which the above described admirers of “adventurers” come up with. If you compare Nonsense with more untwisted characters, you can remember the names of Irina Bogushevskaya and Natalia Pivovarova . |
- G. Shostak: [11]
What attracted me to this group? First of all - freedom. First, freedom from the usual clichés, cliches and stereotypes. REGULAR PARTS OF ADVENTURES are unlike anybody. Secondly, stylistic freedom: the parts do not fit into any particular stylistic direction. They can meet literally everything - from disco to jazz-rock, from funk to ska, from the Soviet stage music of the late 60s to cabaret-rock ... |
