Hannelius, Jan

Jan Ingvar Hannelius ( Fin. Jan Ingvar Hannelius , December 7, 1916 , Oulu - March 7, 2005 ) - Finnish chess composer , international master ( 1977 ) and international chess arbiter ( 1957 ). President of the FIDE Permanent Commission on Chess Composition ( 1974 - 1986 ). Since 1932 he published over 500 problems , mainly two- and three-way , as well as problems on fairy-tale topics (see. " Fairy-Tale Chess "). The author of a topic named after him (See Hannelius topic ).
