Zhanibek District ( Kazakh. Zhіnіbek Audany ) is located in the West Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the district is the village of Zhanibek .

Physical-geographical characteristic
The distance from the district to the regional center of the city of Uralsk is 454 km [2] .
The relief of the area is mostly flat. Explored stocks of natural building materials. The rivers of Maliy Uzen , Aschyozek and others flow through the district. There is a irrigation and sprinkling system with a total length of 648 km, which supplies Volga water.
The climate is continental . The average January temperatures range from —12 ° C to —13 ° C, July 23-24 ° C. The average annual precipitation is 200–300 mm.
Soil is sodic , dark brown, chestnut . The vegetation is mainly steppe and semi-desert , the southern part of the area is occupied by sandy desert.
