Story
The prototype of the hero of the story is Chekist Nikolai Geft .
At the end of 1943, engineer Kraft, who worked there before the war, began working at a shipyard in occupied Odessa. Soon he becomes the chief engineer.
In fact, under the guise of a German engineer, showing official zeal, the Soviet intelligence is hiding.
The next film of the dilogy is “ Struggle ” (1972, directed by Stepan Puchinyan).
