Model B4 migrated from the second generation and was produced only in the sedan. RSK was equipped with the popular DOHC twin-turbo 2.0 liter engine, delivering 280 hp. with manual transmission and 260 hp on the machine (Tiptronic). As a result, the acceleration of 0-100 km / h takes 5.7 seconds on the mechanical box and 6.7 seconds on the machine. The models intended for export to Australia were tuned to use lower-quality gasoline, and as a result, they had less power, 255 hp. for models with manual transmission and 236 hp with automatic transmission. As a result, 0-100 overclocking took 6.3 seconds on the manual transmission and 7.1 on the machine. B4 with manual transmission had a 50/50 torque distribution between the front and rear wheels, with automatic transmission - 35/65. Turbines work in tandem and this acceleration is due to the fact that the exhaust pressure has switched from one turbine to two, providing greater power.
Also, compared to the standard Legacy, the B4 has been modified brake system and control system. With Bilstein front struts and Bilstein rear shock absorbers, the B4 got a tough, but at the same time, very comfortable suspension. The brake system package included disc brakes and anti-lock system for all four wheels. Front, coupled with dual piston calipers, installed 16-inch ventilated discs. Rear - 15-inch wheels equipped with single-piston calipers. The interior got off with black leather with blue leather inserts. The driver's seat had an electronic adjustment system. B4 comes with 17 inch BBS alloy wheels. What helped to reduce the weight of the car to 1495 kilograms with a full tank of fuel (64 liters). Low side fairings (so-called skirts) and a rear spoiler helped to improve aerodynamics somewhat. In general, the Legacy B4 does not have any radical differences from its predecessor. Model B4 RS was equipped with a less powerful atmospheric 2-liter engine, but also had the most distinctive features of a more powerful model RSK.
In 2001, the model was released B4 RS25 with an atmospheric engine capacity of 2.5 liters. In 2002, the model B4 RS30 came out with an atmospheric 3-liter engine EZ30 (flat-6).

GT-B

Named after a town in the south of France , this station wagon was shown in 2001 at the 35th Tokyo Motor Show .
