Career

Rodriguez Neto began his career at the Vitoria club from Espiritu Santo , from there he moved to the Flamengo club, where the best years of his career passed and with which he became the three- time Rio champion . Over 7 years, Neto played a total of 438 matches at Flamengo (in which the club scored 211 wins, tied 122 times and lost 102 times) and scored 30 goals. From “Fla” Neto moved to the club “ Fluminense ”, with whom he became the champion of Rio for the 4th time. Then there were two seasons at Botafogo , and from there went to Argentina, where he played at Ferrocaril Oeste clubs with a break for two seasons when Neto played at home at the Internacional club, with whom he twice became the state champion, Boca Juniors . " Then Rodriguez briefly lost for Sun Cristovan , from where he left for Hong Kong to play for South China and Eastern clubs. In 1990, Neto returned to Brazil to hold a farewell match in his native Flamengo.

After the player’s career ended, Neto briefly coached the San Bento team. Neto lived in Rio de Janeiro and worked at the Fluminense Club youth school.
